Review SummaryThe welcome aboard was great--we had a wonderful barbeque before our rooms were ready and the staff showed how friendly and helpful they were. This never changed over the course of the cruise. The restaurants are very good, and the specialty restaurants are well worth the extra charge for dining in them. The food was very good. I was impressed by the main dining rooms--the buffet was very good---and the "Versai" dining room was impressive--beautiful inside and the service impecable. We had excellent entertainment, a library, reading rooms and card rooms. The forward of the ship has a huge living room like atmosphere with great viewing of our journey at sea. It has a good bar and was also used for some of the entertainment and live music.
I don't mind paying for softdrinks in the bar, but with dinner, I did not think that was right. Coffee, iced tea, or hot tea were available at all meals--
The ship was easy to navigate thru--good elevator access--each floor had a description of what was on it and how to find it. The ship is clean and the staff does an excellent job of keeping it looking good. I did not like the casino because of the cigarette smoke--I also think they should do a better job of carding minors both in the casino and in drinking.
