A memorable vacation

Sail Date: June 05, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was clean and safe. There were no carpet or floor stains and the public areas were clean. The decor had an Chinese theatre feel, but the colors were modern and fun. The staterooms were adquate considering it is a cruise ship with limited space.

Pros: I enjoyed the time in port

Cons: The weather going to Bermuda was really bad

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship was clean and the crew always made sure that areas were safe, especially when it rained.
Food and Dining
The food was good. I enjoyed many an interesting and delicious appetizer in the main restaurants. The portions were appropriate for a 3 course meal, you left little on the plate and never felt over-stuffed. The desserts were wonderful.
Cabin / Stateroom
I have never been on another cruise so I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought the stateroom was fine for a cruise ship considering the limited space. We had a big square window and not a port hole so it felt bigger. The bed was a small queen and fit 2 people comfortably. The room was made up quickly, twice a day.
Service and Staff
Staff was friendly and professional. They always looked clean and approachable.
Entertainment
Lots of fun activities with a mix for both young and old.
King's Wharf, Bermuda
Exploring the Commissioner's house was a fun and interesting look into Bermuda's history. We visited the Crystal Caves which was informative and something you'd not normally see elsewhere. Also visit The Swizzle Inn for the signature drink of Bermuda, a rum swizzle.
Don't Miss: Rent a moped if you can...it isn't as scary as you think.
