A Great Trip!

Sail Date: June 10, 2007

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Inside

We didn't know what to expect because for the last three years we have sailed another cruise line but this year we opted for NCL. We were not disappointed! The ship was huge with a lot of things to do. The cabin, although smaller, seemed bigger and set up better. We never got in each other's way. The food was very good. We especially liked La Trattoria. The only problem was that everyone else liked it also so it was extremely difficult to get a reservation unless you ate at 9:30 p.m. Windows and The Garden Room had very good food also so we don't feel like we missed anything!

Pros: The ship was very clean, the crew friendly, the food great and the entertainment good.

Cons: The other ships we have sailed had a 24 hour pizza and self serve ice cream. We found this a good idea for the teens.

Ship Quality

We found the ship easier to roam around in. Seemed a lot easier to find things than on another cruise line.

Food and Dining
The food was great!
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom was smaller but seemed bigger because the set up of the beds was better.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
The private island is a short ride on the tender from Nassau. The water is turquoise and clear. Beautiful!
Port Canaveral, Florida
We went to Universal Studios. Our only complaint was that it wasn't enough time to fully visit both parks. The extra $60.00 for an "express" ticket was too hard on the pocketbook!
Nassau, Bahamas
Just strolled around Nassau. The straw market is interesting although small and crowded and HOT!
