It was nice for a short 5 day cruise around Bahama. Drink package, entertainment, and service were very good. Older ship, but well maintained and rooms are a bit cramped, there are plenty  of places to sit and read or just relax.

The Norwegian Sky is an older ship that needs updating as far as furniture and decor. Broken seat on the desk chair in our stateroom and the leather sofa was pretty scuffed up. The Atrium chairs were looking old and the color schemes were old fashioned. 

During rain storm, there was a bad water leak coming into the Palace dining room. The friendly, efficient  staff makes up for the the deficiencies. Our room steward kept our room spotless and was attentive to all our needs. 

The food in the complimentary dining rooms is fair and forgettable. After our first meal, for the rest of the trip we ordered from the specialty menu and also dined at the specialty restaurants. It was worth the extra money. The food and service at these  restaurants was outstanding. Cagney's Steak house especially. Great food and great service. A must for anyone dining at a specialty restaurant.

Many on board activities to suit everyone's individual likes. You could find music at many locations. Captain Cook's Bar was great. Richard the piano player was exceptionally entertaining. Michelle, the cocktail waitress has to be the most pleasant staff member on board. She remembered our names whenever we came in. Found us seats and recalled what we were drinking. She would spend time chatting with us whenever there was a lull in orders and showed a genuine interest in what we were saying. A little itty- bitty gal with a great big smile that is infectious. 

The casino was large enough to accommodate those who wanted to play. They didn't have a "Let it Ride" table, which is my favorite, so I entertained myself at the roulette table. The shows weren't "Broadway Productions" but they were entertaining. 

The free drinks were a definite plus. Many bars at many different locations. Some had frozen drinks which I preferred. I liked the pool deck bar since they had TV's that showed the Professional Basketball finals. 

My wife visited the many shops on board. No need to say more about that.

The onshore excursions are another story. Due to weather our Glass Bottom Boat trip was cancelled. I can't fault the ship for that. We had booked an excursion to Atlantis Aquarium that was "disastrous" We disembarked the ship to go to the pier at the designated time. We had to search for the excursion Representative who we found sitting on the side of the area. She put gold plastic wristbands on us and directed us to the bus at the end of the pier. The bus took us to the front gate of the Resort and left us off. There was no one there to guide or instruct us what to do next. The group decided to go into the main building where we encountered Atlantis staff, who had no idea what we were to do. We were directed to the ticket counter and once again encountered puzzlement by the Atlantis staff. A Supervisor was called and she informed us that the Aquarium tour required a different colored wristband, ours were for the water activities. The Supervisor then found us a guide, Ella,  who was very entertaining and made us forget our aggravation. The problem with the guide, I believe she thought we were to take a tour of the resort and the Aquarium. We then proceeded to take a long hike through the grounds. I felt like I was back in the military. There were many older people on this tour including my wife and I, and when we finally got to the Aquarium we were exhausted. This wasn't the guides fault, it was the company that set up the excursion and their lack of personnel to take care of our group. Many of us voiced our complaints when we got back on Board. Caution if you are hungry while at Atlantis, stay clear of the restaurant next to the casino, unless you want to pay$105.00 for a burger, seafood salad and two drinks each!

The private beach island was nice but the weather was not good so the Barbecue was cancelled. It still was a nice excursion. Go early to get a good beach lounger by the water.  Later in the day it reminded me of a seal island. It still was good fun though.

All in all it was a good cruise, that had it's flaws. 

We met some really nice folks on board and struck up some friendships. We have already had contact with some since getting home.

The bottom line is if you want to relax and have a good time, you can't beat a cruise. I would travel Norwegian again but maybe choose a newer ship.

This was a great cruise for my daughter and I to celebrate her high school graduation.  We loved the 3 stops - all great islands with lots of options for excursions and beautiful beaches/scenery.  The food on board was excellent!  Lots of delicious and healthy options!  The room was comfortable and clean.  We had a 'porthole' room and it was plenty of room for the two of us.  The staff across the board was professional and extremely friendly.  We met lots of crew members from other countries and they were happy to answer all our questions about where they were born.  Our ONLY complaint was how much the rooms/ship/decor need to be updated.  Since we weren't in the room very much - this was minimally important.  We had an amazing trip and made lots of wonderful memories!

Great service and wonderful staff. I thought the best part of this cruise was the staff they were amazing to talk to and made my vacation extra special 

If you are looking for drinking cruise, this is the one. There is basically nothing else to do besides the casino. Will recommend to visit Atlantis Hotel and spend the day at the water park. Great Stirrup Cay can't compare to the other cruise lines islands and nothing is free. You pay for shade, floaters, kayak and don't forget to bring the towels from the ship.

Enjoyed anytime dining it really worked for us. Different waiters every night but always exceptional friendly service. Open bar was a big plus we didn't have to give our sail pass at the pool or lounges to have a drink. The ship was very clean & the food very good.  We love to dance in the evening & that was the only disappointment to us. There were lovely lounges with dance floors but no music until 11:15pm & that's a little too late for us.  We choose not to leave the ship at the ports & just relaxed at the pool  !!!  We enjoyed a relaxing four days !!

It was our first cruise ever and we picked the best.  The suite came with a butler, breakfast and lunch in a super restaurant, and all other food and drinks complementary.  Our favorite part was the music everywhere and the outstanding service by all employees. 

OMG we had the best time.  everyday there was always something new.  i have never been so happy with a vacation as i have been with the norwegian sky cruise and their staff.  everyone was so friendly, helpful, and happy.

The Norwegian Sky has the friendliest staff! We were treated like queens each night in the Palace restaurant by Mahi, our server. We were also given extra help and attention by Fransico, port shopping specialist. We had a great time and made fun memories! We will be returning! 

I've taken many many cruises....this one was by far the best,  the private island is fabulous,  no the ship is not the newest, but plenty to do....I would do it again in a heartbest...

Favorite part of the cruise was the views, activities and friendliness of the staff. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Improvements needed were with the live entertainment and food selections. You should not have to pay for bottled water.

For a short cruise this was great!  The ship was very clean, nicely decorated and easy to get around.  The only thing we found to be on the negative side was there were just too many chairs in the showroom, making it hard to get to the center of the row.

We would highly recommend the Sky and plan to do it again.

This was great way to have a relaxing few days in the sun. Staff was very friendly, and eager to make this an enjoyable trip. 

The ship was clean and well attended during our stay.  The public bathrooms were very clean, well taken care of.   Plenty of food at all times of days. Breakfast could be in the dining room, or at the buffet. At the buffet you could also have eggs, or omelets made to order. 

Love the all inclusive price, made things very easy. 

It would be nice to have another day at the "private island" 

It was a great vacation , next time we  just need to Pick the ship with water slide and climing rock. The privite Island was a paradise we Just need more umbtellas.. 

I will definitely be cruising with Norwegian again! The experience was much more than what I expected. The staff were excellent, friendly and just amazing to be around. The food was delicious! There were tons of events on the ship, I was never in my room! I have been back for 2 days and I can't stop telling my friends how much fun I had! At $299 I expected a much worse experience, this was easily the cheapest, yet BEST trip I've ever been on! 

Over all enjoyed the cruise.  I felt the food was average, a lot of hamburgers  hot dogs, and cold cuts for lunch.  The ship  was very clean, staff very accommodating.  The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Bedside lamp shades torn. I didn't feel that the services charges were not explained when cruise was booked

If it weren't for the free drinks included and (some) of the friendly staff, I wouldn't even rate this a 1 star cruise. Upon arrival, they set the wrong luggage outside our door (which "has never happened in the past 9 years"). Luckily we are honest people and didn't take what we wanted from that bag and return it back in the hallway. What made us even more angry was they didn't even let us know it was there with a simple knock...they left it in the hallway for anyone to come by and take!! The man we dropped our ONE bag off with at 12pm said it'd be about 2 hours to get it, so we figured ok, give or take, we should definitely have it by 4pm, so we won't bother grabbing a change of clothes or anything. Customer service acted like they didn't even care when we called about our bag and said we would have it by 8pm, but we finally got them to put a priority on our baggage to the room. We also had to call them back because our cabin sink wouldn't drain...which they fixed right away but it clogged right away again the next day. 

Then there's the maintenance. Holy cow. Each day something was roped off for painting the boat, a pool was closed down for maintenance, or (my personal favorite) the front of the boat was closed on the very last night so we couldn't walk out and see the sunset. Their explanation? Oh we have to do some work up front. On the very last night?! Really?! Why the hell would you do all of this while you have passengers?!! There's got to be a better time for all of your new paint and upkeep that doesn't hinder everyone's cruise. The boat was already small enough to not keep us out of areas we should be able to go! Not to mention the pools got drained and closed off around midnight every night, which would have been nice to know. 

The food was crap unless you ate at a restaurant, and most of it was cold even though it was under a "heater". Needless to say, we will never go back on this ship. 

This was my first experience with this Norwegian and I must say it was an excellent one..... From the time we bored the ship until the time we left I had nothing but a great experience...... Most definitely will do the cruise again 

We joined 14 other friends on this cruise and thats what made special for us. This was a short cruise but it was enjoyable and some in our party participated in karaoke and the piano bar. Grilling on the pool deck was nice. The ship looked well maintained. We weren't impressed with the specialty dinning though. I didn't think Cagney's Steakhouse

 was worth the time or money. Thats alright there are other dinning choices.  All in our group did enjoy the stops at Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau.

Great cruise from start to finish. Would do it again in a heartbeat. The only downside is that Nassau kinda sucks except for the Atlantis resort. Otherwise the crew Ned aff of Norwegian deserve a hi-five.
