Review summary

I really enjoyed this shorter cruise on the NCL Sky! The recent renovation made this ship really shine, despite it being one of the oldest in the fleet. We had a great solo/single travelers group, which made the whole experience that much better.

Everything went extremely smoothly, and I was on board before noon. No complaints.

I ate only at the included restaurants, and enjoyed every one. Some great dishes, a few misses. Service was great. I especially appreciated that the dining room was always able to accommodate our large party with minimal to no waiting.

Onboard Activities

Pools and hot tubs were great, and never felt too crowded. I really loved the Glow Party on the pool deck; so much fun!

Entertainment

Production shows were great, as was the adult comedy show. Karaoke was always fun. Skip the lip synch battle.

This interior cabin was perfect for me as a solo traveler! It was clean, and functional. The bed was fine, though firmer than I prefer. The shower was tiny, as to be expected.

Ship tip

This was my first sailing on NCL, and I loved it! I would definitely recommend NCL for solo travelers.

Loved my afternoon at Junkanoo Beach, swimming and enjoying some local food and drink. The perfect low key "excursion".
