I finally got my mom and my sister on a cruise ship! Hooray! And we got to visit Havana, which was my mom's dream destination. It was a wonderful time.

Food and Dining

Of all my cruises so far, this was probably my least favorite dining experience, both in the Main Dining Rooms and the Buffet. However, I loved the Freestyle dining concept. It was so easy to eat whenever we wanted and that we didn't have to have reservations.
Onboard Activities

We used the pool. It was nice, although they don't keep the deck chairs out all day. When I cruise, I sometimes like to lay on a lounge chair early in the morning and watch the sun rise and I didn't get to do that on this cruise. Totally not complaining though-I was on a cruise! We also enjoyed the casino. It was a great size and didn't feel overly smoky.
Entertainment

We had a BLAST checking out all of the shows. They had karaoke every night and that's always fun to watch. The love and marriage show (or whatever they call it on Norwegian) was a great time. My sister and I loved walking around and checking out the art. This was our first experience with the art auction and although we could never buy anything, we loved looking! This was my first time doing a sail-away or white party and those were awesome.

Oh my word. You guys. Don't put more than two grownups in an inside where the 3rd bed is the fold-out "couch." I'm 5'7" and my legs were hanging about a foot off the edge. The room was clean though and sufficient for what we needed.
We did "Havana by Night" through the cruise ship-this excursion was AWFUL. Please do not waste your money. We also hired "Old Car Tours" and did a 4 hour tour through town. This excursion was absolutely incredible. The company is fantastic and the guide was very knowledgeable.
