Review summary

Very disappointed in this particular cruise, I’m not sure if it’s because it was so cheap that people were treated poorly or if it was new crew who had no idea what they were doing. I highly doubt we will cruise with you again. Nicole Mosher

When we were able to get to our room I needed a couple of things, I stuck my head out the old and waited about 10 minutes for our steward, finally a staff member came through the hallway and I asked when/if our steward was available, the response was: I don’t think they come on until 7. Never asked me if they could help or what I needed or that I should go to guest services! I went to guest devices twice before they told me I could just call them, no where in our room was any itinerary or anything that said dial “2” for guest services. 7 PM comes around and still no steward... in the past they’ve literally chased me down the hall and ask what or if I needed anything. This time I did and I never once saw a steward my entire time on the ship! We had no room service cards in our room (I would’ve ordered if I had) we needed 6 more hangers for the 6 empty silver hooks left in the room, I had to call 3 times one night just for ice! I needed an alcohol wipe and guest services told me I needed 4 quarters, went back, got 4 quarters and got iodine scrub, guest services said it must be mislabeled and I should get more quarters! I went to medical and they gladly gave me one. I have a torn meniscus and was trying not to walk too much while on the ship, so all of my extra trips to guest services were just a pain in the neck! We were given 3 itineraries for Saturday and Sunday and not one for Friday. We left our picture that I paid 25$ for in our room, assuming that some nice person (whoever cleaned would be nice enough to turn it in) nope!

We awoke at 7:30 and started packing, around 8:15 we get a knock on our door I said we are finishing up and should be done soon, the response I got was “um you’re supposed to be out by now” excuse me??? We rushed to finish packing and that’s when we left our picture, we ALWAYS get a picture and I am so disappointed that I was rushed so much that we forgot it. That whole situation was completely rude and unnecessary so whoever was cleaning our room that morning needs a good talking to at the least. Needless to say I always tip our room people. I didn’t even feel it was necessary at this point.

Wow, that is a lot to complain about for a 3 day cruise! I will say on the paperwork I received for my 4 day Cuba cruise it was abundantly clear the time they started expecting people to get off the ship on the final day was 7:00 a.m. (I guess the trip getting the same boat you were on immediately after you left). By your own admission above, you didn't even wake up until 7 :30. By then they had been providing breakfast for an hour and a half. The paperwork I received said people could start getting off at 7:00 a.m. and they asked you to be completely out of your room by 9:00 a.m. Lingering like you did throws the whole system off kilter. They have to turn that entire boat in less than a day to get ready for the next cruise. The steward I had cleaned 14 rooms in his section. They need the guests out of there on time so they can do their job. The person who needs the 'good talking to' in the situation you recount in your review is YOU. YOU are the one out of touch with the reality of the fact your vacation is now over, now be a good little guest and get off the boat because everyone has other things they need to do to get ready for the next batch.

Sky was the one that got us hooked and am thinking about her for my daughters 21st Bday!

We had a great time in Jan..drinks were free, service quick and the drinks were very strong. Can't beat it for the price.
