Review summary

Cuba is OUTSTANDING! Do go but not on Norwegian. I you must go on this ship the best excursion is Classic Cars! Do go to the Tropicana but not on an excursion. You will save money and get better seats. Also allow yourself time to shop in the giant market and go to Havana Rum Club and various rooftop bar hotels.

Trip was great and so was my room, only issue is Norwegian customer service. They didn't go the extra mile on details and taking care of their customers. For instance there were many things happening on the boat but if you didn't carry your daily schedule the employees on the boat would direct you to a screen to review. However sometimes the screen didn't work?! Also I purchased a watch on the boat but was not informed of raffle tickets I should have received for a watch raffle later in the week. The only way I knew was when I ran into a vacationer who just purchased a watch and had a string of raffle tickets. He ended up winning the watch. I walked by the Spa on the first day and was not aware they were giving away a free extra 30 mins. I asked if there will be any offers for the remainder of the tour and the head spa lady rudely said no. However I found out from guest that there were additional offers. I had a Butler and Concierge person however the Butler was experiencing his first day on the ship and constantly reminded me of this. He was useless. I took a Spin class unaware that there was a fee. The fee was not listed in the schedule?! They didnt waive it. Cabana service was great in the Bahamas however something i ate kept me up all night and the next day. plan on going back to Cuba but not on Norwegian

Ship tip

Get a suite because the food is better in Cagney's for Breakfast & Lunch. Service and food on the 12th floor is better. Also non suite rooms are very small. Do your Homework on all activities because the staff is rude and will not be of any help.

Excursions were mixed: Tropicana excursion was great however our seats could have been better. I could have received a front row seat and taken a taxi for $80, less than the excursion price and better seats. Wave Runner excursion was excellent but they said they would take pictures and they didn't?? I would have paid extra for these priceless pictures! Ultimate Cuba Excursion went to the cemetery but I had been there the day before with the Classic Car excursion! Classic Car Excursion was the best and we had a great tour guides. The people in Cuba were friendlier than the Norwegian staff. They really need to work on their customer service.

They lied and said they would take pictures while you were on the Wave Runner but they didnt. Small Cabanas were away from music and the main dining area however you had to walk a good mile to get to them. I got sick for 2 days from the food I ate that was brought to my Cabana
