Review summary

DO NOT SAIL ON NORWEGIAN SKY. This ship should be removed from service. The poor design, HORRIBLE food and unfriendly staff make this a poor representation of the NCL standard.

Quick and easy process to board the ship. We arrived the port around 3:00pm for a 5:00pm sailing.

The food on this ship is terrible. Having been on many cruises, this was by far the worst. The specialty restaurants claimed to have few reservation spots available however there were under 10 tables every time. The filet mignon was the fattiest piece of filet we've ever experienced. Other cruise guests we spoke to said their experiences were similar. Cannot warn enough about how awful the food was.

The ship leaves a lot to be desired. Elevators are tiny. The pathways are very narrow and small. The ship is very dated. It was fairly clean.

Disembarkation

There was no labeling as to where to disembark. The staff created a long line by setting up a table at the point of exit. The table was for guests to pay their onboard accounts. Guests that had already disembarked were literally handing cash to their friends/family to settle the account. It was a circus and created confusion on the lines to exit the ship.

It's just a lie. Your trying to make ppl not sail on NCL. The staff won't make money if you write reviews to tell ppl not to sail on a ship. It's your opinion. Not someone else's.

Been on the sky many many times great ship to relax. Very little kids or wild teenagers or college kids . Food is great and staff top notch ship is clean . But I do agree as for shows and pool it is a little lacking

I had a great time especially since we went to Cuba. Yes ship is oldest smallest in fleet but recently remodeled and very clean. Food was ok not spectacular. Staff very friendly just not very knowledgeable about their jobs-seems like this is their training ship. If it didn't go to Cuba I wouldn't bother with it since it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other NCL ships.
