Review summary

This was the coziest and most comfortable ship I've been on in a while. We usually go on the huge mega ships, so this was a nice change of pace. Everyone on the ship (staff and guests alike) was super friendly and excited to be on Norwegian Sky's first sailing to Cuba. Our ship was able to dock IN Havana (no tender), and the process of going in and out was easy. We had a simple embarkation / de-embark process. The food, service, and staff were top notch. As it was a smaller ship, there weren't any crazy lines or back ups at any point. We only went for 4 nights but could have easily stayed 6 - this trip was definitely worth the money!

Most of the staff was excellent, however, a few bartenders here and there were clearly overwhelmed by the demands of guests. They need MORE bartenders if this is going to be an open bar / all inclusive sailing.

First time staying in an inside cabin - we booked at the last minute and the price was right. It was roomy (enough) and in a great location mid-ship. We got GREAT sleep because once the lights were out, it was pitch black. I would not hesitate to stay in this cabin again .

I'm about to rent a tour in one of those nice old cars tours that are provided at tripadvisor. I believe all can find a nice tour to visit Havana for some hours. I'm going to buy one of those for my trip in September.

We sail 29th. Our NCL excursion was already changed to something we were not interested in doing. Not happy about that so we cancelled it. Not sure what to do now

Did you set up an excursion through the ship or did you set one up when you arrived in Cuba? Any hi lights?
