Review summary

Booked a Cruise with Three ports of call, Freeport and Nassau, both in the Bahamas and great stirrup cay, Norwegian private island. The day after I paid in full for the cruise we got a email that  the visit to stirrup key  was cancelled, as it is under renovation, something that was not menwhen I called in to pay in full.  Bummer as we really wanted to relax on a beach.   Ok. Then instead of Freeport we went to key west instead, due to damage from hurricane Matthew .  Ok I used to live in key west so to us it was no big deal

food: it seemed to me that most, if not all entrees were frozen, just heat and serve and not the best, the veal cordon blu cordon Bleu sucked, it was st cordon Bleu ill cold on the inside.  The specialty restaurant le bistro was great, we should of book all our dinners there.

the open bar was, honestly, the only reason we booked this particular cruise as on previous cruises we paid 49.00 plus tax for the drink package, so this was a considerable savings for the two of us

all in all we would problems do this cruise again, with all ports of call as advertised and dinners in specialty restaurants, believe me it's worth the extra a la cart pricing

The first day, getting ready for dinner, took a shower and it was stopped up from previous cruise, water everywhere. It took 2 different guys to correct, but it was still slow draining. Very hard to regulate the water temp in the shower, old, most likely original fixtures.

Ship tip

Skip the palace and the crossings restaurant. They are the main dining rooms, food did come fast, but low quality and cold

No compensation for itinerary changes. It stated that clearly in the cruise contract

There's no compensation for port changes other than refunded port fees.

You should get some compensation for the changes. We are going this Sunday and already they have changed one of the port of calls. Still going to great stirrup cay so far.
