Terrible prepackaged food and everything besides booze costs extra!

Review summary

This ship does not offer much to do that is included in the price. Buffet food was prepackaged/ proceesed food and every buffet was the same food for each day. Never docked at a beach. Always docked at an area with a shipyard type view. On the second stop you either had to pay for a taxi or walk 5 miles to even get to a beach. Ship charged $50 just for a couple to play bingo. All shops on board extremely overpriced and didn't even open until 5-6 pm everyday. So if you actually needed something you were out of luck until evening. Went to the fancy restaraunt on board one night and food was aweful and you were served about 2Tbs. of each item. The only postive I can say is that the staff were nice. Otherwise it was a boring and disapointing trip.

Lousy food? Nothing to do? This guy was not on the Sky. Lancerz may be right. Probably works for Carnival

Labor day sky cruise was the bomb, I went by myself and had blast, free bar party, eat good everyday and all you can do is complain, go get a life.

There are far worst cruises than what you're describing, but I don't think NCL is one of those. Even though this ship is not brand new, it offers good hospitality and the food is above just good!

I canceled other cruises and put them on the sky. Definitely made to party to relax with the kids. Only ship on water was FREE open bar no swiping no room number req nothing just drink and enjoy. Ask for doubles when u get your top shelf 😉

cruising is def what you make it...do your research before you go and get tips from people who are regular cruisers. cruising is my fav way to travel! you will have a blast travis2010amy

idk if I'll do bingo prob just hit the casino if I get lucky I'd give bingo a shot then again I may just go all out it is my 1st cruise lol

Lol we went with ncl as our 1st cruise cause 1 obviously open bar lol and 2 it's freestyle. I have friends that perfer carnival but I'm not a dress up tux kinda person lol

No it's not Travis, it's $10 per bingo card and you buy as many as you want. This guy obviously just wants to cause issues. Probably works for Carnival lol.

I'm not sure if you've been on many cruises but not all docks are near beaches. You can usually take a taxi for a few dollars. And shops on board are usually closed while in port. If you needed something you could have probably bought it onshore cheaper.
