Review summary

Had a great experience on the Prima. My constructive feedback: 1) There was deck seating above our stateroom. From 6am to 11pm, the chairs were constantly scraping across the floor. 2) Guest Services did not have adequate cash to make change and would be annoyed when asked to exchange large bills for small bills. 3) A couple with a baby (2 of under) was allowed to sit at a bar with the baby who cried the entire time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was great - excellent food and service. I did not eat at the buffet often, but when I did it was good. Specialty dining at Cagney's Steakhouse - the food was good, and the service was terrible. Did not have a waiter for over 10 minutes then came to take our dinner order. We had to ask for a wine menu. Drinks came after appetizers. Forgot part of our desserts.

Friendly staff. Not one staff member walked by without saying hello.

Ship Quality

Very clean, a lot of seating.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin itself was great, and the room steward was amazing. However, there was deck seating above our stateroom and chairs were scraping constantly from 6am to 11pm.

A few suggestions. Always pick a cabin that has cabins all around it, including above and below to minimize noise. If you want change, the cashier at the casino is a much better place to go.
