Review summary

I had a bad experience with NCL a very long time ago and said I'd never sail with them again, but he Prima looked interesting and the itinerary worked with my time off so we gave it a try. Just very disappointed and underwhelmed, not to mention how expensive everything was after NCL nickel and dimes for everything. I'll be sticking with Royal Caribbean in the future.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Was not "blown away" by the food. There were a couple of really nice choices in the Indulge Cafe. The food in the Main Dining was good, but we had to send back a couple of meals. Mahi Mahi was like sawdust, another entree with Ahi Tuna was promised rare, but was dry. Looked like the tuna was frozen, not true Ahi. Tenderloin was very good. Buffets were always overcrowded and I can't understand why other retaurants were always closed for lunch, making every meal time crowded and chaotic.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Just not enough room for the amount of people on board. Hard to find a deck chair, only a couple of small pools that were always overcrowded. Paid extra for a day pass to the fancy spa, ended up leaving early because of loud people talking, no one to police that. VERY disappointed that the band Rumors was only playing one night in the Syd Norman, that could only hold a small amount of people so we could not get in, but the theater was EMPTY?? Why wouldn't you put them in the theater??? Game shows were crowded and not organized. They had a DJ another night in the Syd Norman and NO ROOM for dancing?? WHY?? The Blaze band was amazing but why have them in the common area? Not enough seating and no room to dance? The ship is not laid out well, and poorly planned out. Somehow there must have been a kids area on the other side of the spa, heard a crying child most of my massage...not relaxing

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Blaze Band was amazing but should have been showcased more. Price is Right was well done Donna Summer was well done

Children's Programs

We did not have children with us, but sadly always heard kids having tantrums

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were very friendy and accommodating

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Outdoor furniture that had fabric were stained badly. Not good for a brand new ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size was good, well laid out, clean

Ship tip

Don't, it's a beautiful ship to look at but not organized or laid out well.

Ports of call

New York, New York Did not visit port

Just parked in NY, did not visit

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Beaches are always beautiful

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Not organized. Blocks of rooms should have been announced for disembarkation, instead it was a free for all, standing for a long time in staircases waiting for the crowds to move. Being in such close contact with people is not only claustrophobic, but a risk for spreading illness
