The ship was beautiful and we definitely had a good time but there were some things we didn’t expect based on past cruise experiences.

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
All venues had the same menu everyday and night. No variety like other ships I’ve been on. Breakfast was 6:30 to 9:30 then there was a break until 11 when lunch started until 2:30. From 3pm to 5pm burgers and fries along with light snacks were the only items available until dinner. Dinner was from 5 to9:30. After 9:30 only one establishment (a sit down restaurant) was available until 3am even though it said 24 hours. Everyone who wanted a late night meal had to go to the one small sit down restaurant. Also for a ship that size the buffet was extremely small and the menu did not change.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The on board activities were fun but there were a lot of up charges. That was to be expected if you checked the site before sailing. One issue we had was to ride doubles for go karts (adult and child) there was only 30minutes set aside each day. This means they were booked up quickly. Also the virtual arcade had a lot of headsets but I never saw anyone cleaning them off between uses. The pool deck was extremely small and only two hot tubs for those who didn’t have Haven assess.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
All of the performances we say were excellent. The problem is there was only one large production (Donna Summers) and it was only on 2 nights of the cruise. The reservations booked up before embarkation and some people were not able to see the show at all.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Waiters and bartenders were friendly but they all seemed to be stretched thin. Not enough staff. When we got to the room even though there were 3 of use the room was set up for 2. Room steward took about an hour to find the key to fix the bed and didn’t bring additional towels until requested.
