I love the ship. I think it is beautiful. I had read a lot of complaints but we have very few. Mostly elevator problems and the usual chair savers. I love the layout that others seemed to dislike. Deck 8 is gorgeous. The amount of outside seating is amazing. The observation deck is beautiful and has so many comfortable chairs and great views. Perfect place to relax and read a book.

A little slow but overall well done. I liked that once you checked in you went directly on instead of waiting.

Pools were nice.
Entertainment

Noise boys were cancelled so that made everything else crowded. It was impossible to get in to the shows
Service and Staff

Our room steward, Jose, was beyond amazing. The first time he met me he called me by name and every time after he remembers name. Onside ring the amount of rooms he had and people he worked with this was so special. He could not have done more for us.

We booked a club balcony with a large balcony facing forward. The room was not as described. It had no sofa only two chairs and a table and the balcony was a completely obstructed view. I have talked to my cruise agent with Ncl and she said it was wrong and we would talk. The room was very nice though. We loved the new style.
Ship tip
Go with an open mind. Yes there are a few glitches like the elevators but just use it as a means to walk some steps and work off all that food. Most everything you want is on decks 6-8. You can easily walk the atrium between the three floors.
We didn’t do an excursion as we have been here before. We tried to go in and walk around but there were four ships in port so you couldn’t even move. Left and went back to the ship.
We didn’t do an excursion here either. Once again we tried to walk around but we never made it past the pier as we were hounded by taxis and people selling things.
People seem to either love or hate the design of the new ships on Royal Caribbean, Carnival and NCL. Many of the overcrowded complaints were during the holidays.
