Review summary

Trip started out rough but not NCL issue at all, just lessons learned. After the rocky start we really did enjoy the trip for our first cruise. Our favorite place to kickback was our balcony. Smoking section is atrocitious and felt very disrespected (there is no seating, no shade, no conisderation) this will limit my cruising on NCL again. The casino was nice spent more time than I cared too just to smoke comfortably. Indulge was a great idea and we loved it. Overall it was very enjoyable.

Embarkation

Check in was smooth, the app is a must for the ease of not carring more paperwork.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

I loved Indulge food hall, great way to try new things I would not normally try. The Local was also another resturant I enjoyed (fish and chips and the Ruben were great).

The Local Bar & Grill

Watched the Donna Sumers review, the production was great. However I would recomend ear plugs if anyone has issues with very loud music.

Service and Staff

The crew were GREAT!! I cant say enough about the crew all the way around. Now for my room stewart.. I could not have gotten any better service than what we recived from him. Fresh ice twice a day after asking 1 time, I could go on.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I feel like this ship is geared more towards the adult cruiser and not so much kids. I would have not put the go cart track on this class of ship. Common areas were very well mantained and kept clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was bigger than I had expected. There was no shortage of storage, layout was standard, but my fear was the bathrooms..... I am 6'3" 330 lbs (no small guy) and I was impressed by the size. The shower was great and to be honest I could have fit another person my size in the shower and been ok (great job here NCL).

Ship tip

Triangles in the hallways point towards the front of the ship.

Can not beat sitting on the balcony seeing this. Oceanwalk Cobb salad with blackened tuna. Highly recomended! Sitting at the Local.
