Review summary

Overall, great family cruise, and a lot of things to do onboard the ship. Food was the best so far on any cruise ship that we have been on. This is worth every penny, advised purchasing the free@sea program which includes Drinks, Wifi, Shore excursion, and Speciality Dinners. Extra cost for speedway, and the virtual game, but totally worth giving them a try. Overall this is in my top 10 cruises.

Embarkation

Quick process to get onboard.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Overall, everything was good but Indulge Food Hall was the best food experience ever, hands down.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Virtual games are a must to do on this ship. Was not able to get on the speed track due to rain, but from what I heard it was a lot of fun.

Entertainment

Shows tend to be booked, so try to book as early as it will allow you to due to limited space. Was not able to see the shows due to limited space.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Wonderful staff, always was there to assist us when we needed it.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Everything was perfect, but the outside smoking area. The cigar lounge was wonderful and very well set up. So if you smoke (cigarettes) and the Casino is not open, there is a very small place on the top deck, but it comes with no chairs, so expect to stand the entire time.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very spacious balcony, even the bathroom area. Had so much storage for all our clothes. Can easily hold a family of 5 with lots of space left.

Ship tip

Book all shows as early as you can the space inside the shows are very limited.

Ports of call

New York, New York

5 out of 5
It was good, spent very limited time there, with no excursion.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
It was fun to walk around and relax and different bars, but I highly recommend a shore excursion to see the history of Nova Scotia.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy, was able to get right on the shuttle that took us to our airport.
