Review summary

I was surprised after paying so much (and adding drink package and internet package), that we ended up paying for so much more on the ship (had to upgrade internet ($199), drink package only include lower levels of drinks, and all the specialty restaurants were ala cart, plus there was a 15.00 service charge per day per passenger which seemed excessive. My next cruise I will be more careful to find a cruise that is truly all inclusive.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Due to fog, departure was delayed over 14 hours, Nowegian did a terrible job of managing embarkation. Passengers waited in line outside the termial for over 4 hours.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good, but not the quality that I expected. I did not pay extra to use any specialty restaurants.

Did you prepay for the drink package before you got on the ship?

There are some luxury cruise lines that are truly all inclusive. Ask a travel agent or just look in their descriptions. They are easy to find but you will pay much more overall. They are typically small ships.
