Review summary

Food was good. Uptown performers were good. It was my husband's first cruise. We booked a stateroom with balcony. Very disappointing, rust running down.

I think a lot of the ship condition issues might have been due to their soon yard period coming soon. Maybe the crew were in transition due to that too

Bad port location. Bad port location. Bad port location. Sorry, they should have located the ports closer to your home address or your cabin. How come they didn't warn you about standing in line with us deplorables? And how could they expect you to ride in a taxi than in a limo? Disgusting! I love the Pearl and yet, I loved every one of the ports on both Pearl cruises. Well, not exactly LOVED, but appreciated them. Fresh salmon and cold water are not found in the Caribbean, my stomping grounds. I love the Pearl, almost enough to go to Alaska. I'm curious how the ship is now, compared to last year's Panama Canal cruise.
