Review summary

Many of the onboard activities were repeated each day- not much variety. The Freestyle Cruising had pros and cons: We had to wait on average 45 minutes for dinner each night. On the "pro" side, disembarkation at the end was smooth and relaxed. Positives were a very friendly staff and really good food at dinner.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food in the dining areas was wonderful as was the service. The Freestyle Cruising caused an average wait of 45 minutes for dinner each night, which ended up keeping us from other onboard activities.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Many activites were repeated each day. Only one free fitness class on at sea days, none on port days. Fitness center was tiny and about half the machines were out of order. Running/walking deck had many people laying out on deck chairs!! Parts of the track were closed! Poolside activites were minimal.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Wonderful staff- all were friendly, professional, and helpful.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The ship contained the basics- pool, spa, casino, stage, however there was nothing special about any of them. The fitness center was tiny and about half of the machines were out of order. It was difficult to find a deck chair almost every day by the pool because of the crowding.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Stateroom was as expected- clean and small. Room stewardess was excellent.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

Don't ever miss going to Sloppy Joes!!! But on the same note- don't take your kids there. It is an adults only atmosphere. We only had 4 hours total at this port- not nearly enough
Don't Miss: Sloppy Joes Bar

Cozumel, Mexico

Playa Mia is a lot of fun! We went on our own- not through the cruuise excursions and saved some money.
Don't Miss: Playa Mia

George Town, Grand Cayman

Not much time at this port. I've visited here before and loved swimming with the sting rays!
Don't Miss: Swimming with the sting rays

Pros: Great staff- very friendly and helpful

Cons: Ship is not in great condition. It seemed crowded. Not enough varied activities

Recommends Norwegian Majesty? No.
