Review summary

This cruise was extremely disappointing: First of all, their are a few things everyone should know before cruising in March and April; 18-19 year old beligerant college students rule, and the cruise ship encourages them by offering $200 all you can drink, and allows them with written parental consent. This is extremely pertinent to anyone who hopes to have a peaceful and relaxing time. It certainly was not for us. The college students were 1200 to about 300 non college age. They were rude, beligerant, and disgusting. There were 4 cops hired to control them, but when we called security after a confrontation at 3:00AM, they never showed up. When we complained, Norwegian guest services told us there was nothing they could do to control them, it was out of their hands. The college kids hoarded the pool and both outside decks, leaving towels and possessions to save seats for all their friends, so public use of those areas to anyone else was near impossible. They would cut in line, scream, yell, run down the halls cursing at all hours of the night, and curse profusely. The elderly, and those with children were the ones that were the most mistreated. They had blatant disregard for them, and would shove and push them, and misbehave as if they weren't even there. The entire cruise was catered to the drunk kids, and the rest of the guests were disregarded. It was very upsetting.
