Review summary

The cruise was good. Service was fantastic as always. Specialty dining was fabulous, buffet was hit or miss but always seemed to have atleast 1 good item. Ship layout kind of sucks compared to sister ship Bliss and Escape. Oversized hot tub at spice is nice but a bit too large if you ask me. Also Spice layout was just a bit off overall, too much shade. Smoking section on 16 was a disgrace.. NCL should atleast provide chairs and tables and maybe some coffee. The ship was nice everywhere else though. Bathrooms super clean. Entertainment was fair, comedian was good, rock and reggae band were real good. Guest services was great. Internet was super fast. Wish NCL would provide some non gmo and organic food choices at the buffet such as organic cereals and milk. Fitness facility was okay.. bit chaotic in the morning but quiet in the afternoon. The guy working there was kind of lame though as he told me to leave for wearing Sandles one day but then hours later I came back and many people were in there with sandles.. anyway.. good cruise it was my 10th cruise. Starbucks was good here. LeBistro was probably the best speciality restaurant overall. Ocean Blue was amazing overall but the rice was a little dry. LaCucina was absolutely phenomenal all around with zero complaints or concerns. Cagneys was good but the service was a little bit slow and the potato was a joke, clearly microwaved but it’s all good I still liked it. Overall it was a middle of the pack. For the price I paid i was absolutely 100% satisfied with my purchase and would do it again.. however, this was not even close to my favorite cruise or ship. I would sail the Joy again, but the Bliss, Escape and Encore would be my first choices.. my room steward was super cool and the room was clean upon arrival. The ports of call were all great as expected. It rained heavily in Honduras though so I stayed in the port area and got back on the Ship. Costa Maya port is really nice these days.. Harvest Caye is simply delightful with many options at a cost and also for free
