Review summary

Cruise was an older group which we loved. Music could of been so much better, we found ourselves walking around every night trying to find something good to listen to.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
I thought going out of NY was going to be crazy. It was a lot easier than Boston. Pleasantly surprised! Parked right next to the boat, exit right off of the highway into the parking lot. Credit card only, $280 for the week.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was excellent. There was one thing that changed which was a big disappointment. The Local (supposed to be the same as O’Sheehans) bakes their wings now - not good! Missed the look of O’Sheehans, way to modern. We like the Irish Pub look. *LeBistro - loved, still my favorite *Cagney‘s - never disappoints (Alex was great) *Savor - great options, delicious *Buffet - great options, hot and fresh *The Local - not the same as o’Sheehans, biggest disappointment *Sugarcane Bar - best mojitos, Rodney was great!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We didn’t participate in much since most things cost additional money.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
We’ve been on many cruises and say the music can make or break a cruise. The music was not good, what happened to reading the room. 70’s party (45 minutes) was packed; everyone dancing and laughing. They should of been playing this kind of music every night in multiple places. There was minimal music at the pool, the DJ should of been out there multiple times a day. And folding chairs in the Atrium - seriously?!?!?!?

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff for the most part was amazing. You always have a couple who are miserable, avoid them. Cash tips go a long way. We actually heard a passenger say you’re not supposed to tip them, so wrong. Tip your staff, they appreciate the love! We tip everywhere, even in the free dining rooms. They needed more staff by the pool, long lines at the bars.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was very clean, staff was always running around wiping everything down. Should of had music every night in the observatory.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great room, close to the stairs/elevator, quiet room with an amazing bathroom. Double sinks and a full size shower. Would definitely book this room again!

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We were off the ship at 7:20am. That’s the earliest we’ve ever gotten off a ship!
