Review summary

Better than expected! Unsure of what to expect from NCL, large ship experience, and Fall weather.

Embarkation

Very smooth, arrived later. Cruise terminal was not crowded at all and there were no lines for porter, security, check-in, etc. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food met and exceeded our expectations. Especially liked the specialty restaurants, we ate at the French and Steak restaurants. Service was excellence. Not every dish at the buffet was excellent, but the variety was so large that we could always find something good! Especially liked the ice cream, the rest of the dessert not to my taste. Would have loved some peanut butter and whipped cream at the crepe bar. Enjoyed the Sports bar food and location. Main dining room did not impress us, but food was good and service was great! The eighth deck was not as crowded but it has a great brew pub with a TON of variety of micro brews to pick from. We enjoyed live music and some hard to find beer! The mojito bar is also a not so crowded gem. The bartenders make each mojito from scratch and the quality is great, tried multiple mojito flavors!

The District Brew House

Went there twice. The variety on tap and the bottle selection could satisfy all beer tastes. We each tried different microbreweries that we cannot get at home.

Sugarcane Mojito Bar

Awesome tropical flavored mojitos, loved the variety. My favorite was the guava/raspberry flavor. Bartenders were spot on, live latin music had folks on the dance floor.

The Local Bar & Grill

Always hopping and happening. Bartenders friendly and very efficient at the same time. Better food than we expected.

See above. Shows, music, and comedians provided great entertainment and variety.

Social Comedy & Night Club

4 out of 5

both comedians were very different. didn't care for one of the PG shows, it seemed as if the comedian was more comfortable doing the 18+ shows with adult oriented humor.

Galaxy Pavilion

only played arcade games, they were great. virtual reality games were expensive, starting at $7
