Review summary

I had lots of fun on this cruise, all the food and drinks were great and the staff made the trip really easy to enjoy. The ship has lots of things to do to keep you occupied. I only wish it was warmer so I could of tried the pool areas and water slides next time. Other than that, I would recommend this ship to anyone.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Boarded in Vancouver, the ride from the airport to the cruise terminal was easy. Just hop on the Canada Line Metro on the airport and it will take you to the cruise terminal. The check in process was your normal experience, a bad scan, ship check in, then boarding.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food onboard the ship tasted great. The buffet was well stock, and always rotating the food selection and options so you wouldn't get tired. We tried the bbq place and manhattan room dining which were all great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Laser tag and Go Karts at sea, how can you go wrong with that. They also has a vr experience in the galaxy pavilion which was fun. Some of the VR games was great like the racing and zombie shooting games were great, but the other games were a bit outdated.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The footloose show was great, it was a lot better than I had expected. Also the elements show was fun, it was sort of a Cirque du Soleil experience.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was one of the best part of the experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. All the servers were very prompt and served you with a smile.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Well its a new ship, so yes everything was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Big and spacious, it had a king size bed and the fake balcony was a nice touch so you could see what the outside was like, without being outside.

Ship tip

Try to book your activities before hand.

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

4 out of 5
Vancouver is your typical big city, if you have extra time you should walk around the cruise port and watch the sea planes land.

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

3 out of 5
Not a great place, you in the middle of the industrial area.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
It took a very long time to get off the ship. Even though they had separate disembarkation groups it still took a very long time to get off. They should add more time for each group to get off the ship.

LA / Long Beach has never been a safe or interesting place to see or be at. They just don’t get it.
