Norwegian Jewel

Ship: Norwegian Jewel

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

As four adults traveling together we were not expecting so many babies and children to be on the ship. Would go back to Alaska in a heart beat but not on this cruise line. Have traveled on Norwegian before, but it has been awhile. When our daughter was young we looked for things where children were involved. Now that we are empty nesters we look for things were fewer children are involved.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Not impressed with the food overall. By all means avoid the Blue Lagoon. Food and service was the worst there. Norwegian used to have a mid-night buffet. They stopped that. Very disappointing. Bar staff was great. Given them a 6.

Room was maintained very well. Our steward did an excellent job. Cabin was very small.

Pros: How beautiful Alaska is and how untouched.

Cons: Ship. To many children
