Enjoyed the cruise

Sail Date: October 08, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

Overall it was pretty typical for a cruise ship - I liked the idea of the "Freestyle" Dining.
The ship was clean, staff was friendly.

Pros: ports - Halifax, Peggy's Cove

Cons: Entertainment on the ship was "hit or miss"

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Comedian was excellent as was the Irish entertainer but the song and dance group were not very good.
Food and Dining
The specialty restaurants were excellent - dining room and buffet were average.
Halifax, Nova Scotia

Don't Miss: Peggy's Cove
Saint John, New Brunswick

Don't Miss: Bay of Fundy - tides
Sydney, Nova Scotia
Tour of the region is recommended.
