The Norwegian Fjord cruise has so many beautiful places on the itinerary - you can't go wrong with these ports. There isn't really enough time to do some of the more distant hikes, like Pulpit's Rock, but if the ship wasn't going north-south-north-south, perhaps there could be? I wish there was more time in the towns where the excursion options involved distance places (like Flaam).

By far the best cruise we have ever taken. Norway is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The fjords are amazing, and the waterfalls are breathtaking.

This was a great cruise that we will be doing again. NCL is not perfect, but they always do try and make your vacations enjoyable. Room stewards were great as usual. Menus could always be improved.

would I recommend NCL: being waited on hand & foot...? absolutely!! 

The ports of call were amazing! Overall great cruise! Prob my favorite so far.

First, NCL should have all wheelchairs that are bigger than a small person.  I saw only 1 for a heavy set person.  (boarding and debarking)  Crew is extremely friendly and helpful.  Food was mediocre.  Toilets should be in a bigger space or not enclosed  Our cruise was very bumpy, not sure if it was just the weather's fault or that they don't have good stabilizers on their ship.  Only one good entertainer in my opinion.  The ports had tooooooooooooo long of a pier but luckily for the bike carriages and trams. 

We just got off the Jade yesterday and it was outstanding! The staff, food, refurbished ship, and cruise overall, was wonderful. There was always lots to do or you could just do nothing. We are fortunate to travel quite a bit and was our 7th cruise (2nd with NCL) and were impressed by how the staff conducted themselves and were able to deal with consistent complainers (there are always one or two of those 😉). There was always a lounger available somewhere as well. I liked the fact the dress code was enforced in the Grand Pacific and Le Bistro (much to the chagrin of some guests, but guess what? They let you know that numerous times, in advance. We like to dress up for dinner and don't want to sit by negative Ned who thinks cargo shorts and a tee shirt and flip flops is dressy (see complainer comment above)..... then go to Alizar every night if you want to stay in your shorts). We would for sure book NCL again, far superior to Carnival in most ways, especially the guests, they just seemed more classy, and perhaps it's because the average age was 62 on this ship (we are early/mid 40s, and 62 is just fine by us) 😉

Late night partying was very slow as the crowd was older.

Just got off the Jade and we had a GREAT time! The food was very good and the entertainment was magnificent!!! All the port stops went off without a hitch and each employee we came in contact with was awesome!!! She is of to the U.K. now....where these bad reviews come from is beyond me. If anyone has any direct questions feel free to ask!!! Brian

Amazing Jade! We had the best time ever. Not one issue... staff went waaayyyy above and beyond! So many personal interactions and they remember every single one! I cant stress enough about our amazing crew!!

Having just returned from a 7 day western Caribbean cruise which I loved. I was in Cozumel, Costa Mayo, Roatan, and Harvest Caye. The only port I was disappointed in was Harvest Caye. I understand the port only opened in November, however I'm sure since then there has. I'm sure since then there has been a few cruise ships in so the vendors should have an idea what they should have in stock.  Having said this, that is the nature of my complaint; my cruise arrived early (7AM), so rather than shop then, I decided to go to the pool area first. By the time I started heading back to the ship (around 11AM), many of the vendors (clothing) either had no sizes left or in some cases, empty shelves. In closing, the resort is beautiful and has a lot to offer, so I hope my complaint/comment is shared with the appropriate people so improvements can be done. 

all was sparkling, crew was friendly and wonderful.  room was pristine.  dining was very good - don't miss the reuben at o'sheehan's or anything else there. 

on room - overhang ends overhead, for more shade book further back.  morning coffee station just one floor up stairs.  worked out well for us.  there is a wonderful mini eats station at the outdoor section of garden café.  was a really good time on a great ship

The ship was well maintained.  The food was excellent. Staff was pleasant and friendly especially Han from Myanmar (Bartender at the Great Outdoors- Deck 12).  The only disappointment we had initially was being placed on deck 4 when we booked early and are returning passengers and we brought 6 additional passengers with us that were placed on more preferable cabins than what we got.  But a lesson was learned about the guaranteed rooms. They were no advantage at all, not even in price, our friends booked through online travel agents got the fares for the same price or less and they were offered dining packages when we were not.

Overall a good cruise, our favorite port was in Honduras.

I was happy with the refurbishing of the ship.   Everything was updated and I found very clean.      Our cabin steward was very attentive and made our vacation pleasant.

We ate dinner at Cagney's and Le Bistro; which was very relaxing and the food was excellent.    The majority of our meals were at the Alizar and Grand Pacific.  All our meals were very good and no complaints.    The only suggestion I can give future cruisers is to book dinner reservations before the Cruise.    We were unable to use two of our complimentary  dinner.  Skip the Cocktail Party for Latitudes Members; was a big disappointment.  Service for alcoholic drinks was slower than in the past.  There was no service charge to have coffee and juice delivered to your cabin.   To sum it up; we will book another cruise with NCL in the future. 

First cruise we’ve ever been on and we enjoyed so much we’ve been many since!

Ship is small so it is easy to get around. It is well organized and employees were very nice and answered all questions. If you are looking for a fun time, this ship is for you!

We had a great cruise on the Jade. It was my first NCL cruise and the Jade’s second after dry dock. Ship was beautiful!

A spectacular cruise that we'll never forget. Such a great vacation! We're new NCL fans for sure! The crew were fantastic, the destinations were educational and fun for our children as well as us, and the crew ship was nicely kept up.

Ship was updated recently and showed it. Rode through 8 foot seas like an aircraft carrier. Locations we docked at were controlled almost no police in sight seemed safe. Beaches and towns were great. Only negative commit, food was good but seasoned poorly. Desserts were bland, Drinks were relegated to two or three juices and water ( I know its a big money maker but cruise lines should consider installing soda fountains to accommodate their guests and forget charging for them.)
