Review summary
The Staff were impressive/nice. The itinerary to the 4 Greek islands were wonderful. The Food was substandard. We started with the Italian speciality restaurant which was our ONLY good meal. Although I had a filet that was less than \"Choice Grade\", the wife and farther in-law enjoyed their selection. The buffet food was sometimes cold and tasteless but not sure if that is acceptable on Norwegian, I have been on other cruises (i.e. Celebrity, etc.) and the overall food experience was good compared to the Norwegian-Jade. We also tried the French Restaurant, \"Le Bistro\" and again the food was substandard with spotty good selections (i.e. Salads). We ended our trip by selecting the Steak House Specialty Restaurant and we were very disappointed by the entire meal. Again, the service was excellent but the food was sub-standard. The Shrimp cocktail was undercooked, the Steak was not Prime as indicated and did not taste like a 28 day aged steak, and the lobster I had was undercooked. The dessert we had was very good. Overall, taking out the food portion of the trip, we had a great experience but would not recommend the Norwegian-Jade.Ship experiences
