Review summary

Very large, lots to do. Freestyle cruising gives you freedom to eat when and where you like at 10 different restaurants. Also gives you freedom to pay cover charges of anywhere from $10 to $25 per person at six of them for very average food. Staff was generally helpful but inconsistent. Service was equally inconsistent as were the Shore Excursions.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Time freedom is good but the cover charges were out of proportion to the quality. Menus were a little dull with the exception of the Tapas restaurant. A $25 per person cover charge at the Cagney's Steakhouse for a very average steak was an example of the price/value problem.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Lots of variety and easy to attend. Helped fill the evenings along with a casino.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Like usual, some good some bad. Room steward was excellent, Sertvice desk and some very good and some folks with an attitude problem

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Due to the stomach "virus" that we were informed of upon arriving on ship hand sanitizers were used everywhere all the time. Unfortunately the problem continued as I can personally certify. They have a problem.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
We had a mini suite with balcony, room was fine.

Pros: Ship Atmosphere

Cons: Gastro Intestinal Outbreak, the Ships Second in a Row
