Review summary

We had a small group of 26 people, not all hung at together all the time...that was okay. This by far, and as of now, was my favorite ship and cruise.

Embarkation

Was a breeze in Miami. Had to wait a little bit for security to open...they were late, but maybe 1/2 an hour. Was still onboard by noon.

Garden cafe lately for "me" has been losing its luster. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, maybe because I just get there later in the mealtime. I don't know

Waves Pool Bar

Was happy with this venue on embarkation day only! You could sit at the bar, and they'd serve you. Once day 2 came around? NOPE, ya had to get on a line a wait. Drink runners were useless as well.

Sunset Bar

The BEST bar onboard on my cruise. Was always popping, service was great, drinks were cold. Sunsets over the sea were spectacular!

Don't be like us!!! Save room for & remember to stay for the pineapple!!! The various meats were tremendously tasty. Don't fill up on the salad bar!

O'Sheehan's Neighborhood Bar and Grille

1st stop my son made when embarking. Had wings, burgers, and beers!Works perfectly for that late night drinking snack time!

Drink service was slow, but the comedians were hilarious. Early (family friendly), and late ("blue") shows. Get reservations, fills up quickly.

Service and Staff

95% of staff were great!!! Bartenders and drink runners were less than up to par. Especially drink runners. Even while waving a $10 bill for their tip they ignored people. UNTIL the last day...their hand picked regulars weren't around...so THEN they asked us if we wanted anything. We told them "no, should've be around from day 1 when we were all but shouting for your service. You'd be a lot richer now." They lost out on a $100 each week easily.

Ship Quality

First breakaway class ship I was on, took a day or 2 to adapt and "know" my way around. Very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin could've been a bit larger, it was my son and I only in there, so it worked. Bed, bedding, and pillows extremely comfortable. Our cabin steward was excellent and helpful.

Ship tip

TIP: As always, go and have fun. This is a big ship, and crowded if full. Reserve EARLY as in before boarding. That that needs reserving onboard? GET IT DONE AS SOON AS YOU BOARD, don't eat 1st...GO RESERVE!!!

Harvest Caye, Belize

My only complaint here is they call it a "private island," it's not. It's shared with Belize, therefore you will pay for food & drink, even with drink pkg.'s place has tremendous potential. There is a little animal sanctuary here, we missed it.
