Review summary

I was blind sided by 13.50 a day per person charge for the cabin steward. I did not agree with this charge. I would not cruise again with this charge.

And the 13.50 is not just for your cabin steward it is split among other staff as well. These people are not paid very well and bust their butts to make your trip a pleasant one. If you had gone out to eat 3 meals a day you would have paid more than that in tips.

That's pretty standard. Have you not cruised before? Back in the old days, we used to leave tip money in cash for everyone in envelopes, but I'm sure some staff got screwed out of their tips, and the staff works so hard for it. I prepay my gratuities before I even cruise, so no big bill when I leave ship.
