Cagney's Steakhouse on Norwegian Gem

A personal favorite regardless of the ship. The Cagney's Steakhouse on the Gem was no exception. Delicious food, Excellent service and a spectacular oceanview window seat.

Great steak! The only reason it lost a star from me is that specialty drinks are only available at specific bars around the ship. So I could not get my preferred drink with dinner.

Used one of our specialty meals here. Included appetizer, an entrée, two sides, and desert. Sides were almost comically small, especially if you were paying the $8 menu price for them. For free they’re fine and it’s not like you’re going to a steakhouse for their steamed broccoli anyway. The steak on the other hand was well worth coming here for. Easily better than the prime rib I had at either O’Sheehan’s or the Grand Pacific. In case you’re curious the steamed broccoli was kind of bland even by steamed broccoli standards.

Waiter doesn’t know the menu and argue that why my steak was supposed to be that way even half of the steak didn’t turn out what I ordered.

We ate there 3 times. All 3 were excellent meals.
