Maltings Beer & Whiskey Bar on Norwegian Gem

No microbrews on draft only bud light and one more (sorry forgot, shows how unimpressed I was)

As a Solo Cruiser, this is where we had our nightly meets. Loved the bar and Junnel was the fantastic bartender!!

Always fun having a drink, sitting and listening to the bands (Sonata and Natural Mystic) or LM Cancio the solo guitarist.

Staff excellent, disappointing single malt scotch whisky in the drinks package.

My husband and his friend enjoyed two different whiskey tastings at this bar. Both were informative and tasty. The bar tender really knew a lot about the whiskey he was serving, and did not skimp on the pours. Based on what was served, and consumed, this was a real value on the ship!

All bourbon and Scotch had an up charge. This is crazy! $15 limit per drink and I had to pay a $2.34 up charge for Knobb Creek. The bottle cost around $35 retail. You make you profit back on 2 shots! I think you can afford to include this items at the $15 included price for drinks.

The whiskey bar was awesome. The bartender came up with unique drinks.
