Norwegian Gem Mini-Suite with Balcony MX

Occupancy: Up to 4 guests

Amenities: Two lower beds that convert to a queen-size bed additional bedding for two more guests floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open up to a private balcony a sitting area and a private bathroom with luxury bath and shower. Each mini-suite also includes a refrigerator mini-safe television direct-dial telephone and a hairdryer.

Please Note: Smoking is prohibited in all staterooms and suites. Smoking is allowed outside on balconies but cigar and pipe smoking is prohibited in all suites and outside on all balconies.

Room steward was excellent we bought two robes and they were brought to the room. We got all we asked for. Very neat and orderly.

Good service from Edwin. Plenty of clean towels twice a day, love having fresh ice in the room...this room is right below the pool area and we fell asleep to the bands loud base sounds most nights. Would not choose this room again.

Terrible cabin! Noise late at night after 11pm from the basketball courts. Basketball was also played starting before 5am. All we heard day and night was the ball bouncing over our heads! My husband video taped it and security was sent to stop it. After a few days and nights of no sleep, we complained to guest services. They were very sympathetic and said if a cabin became available they would change ours. They did change our cabin on day 4 when someone left the ship. Our new cabin was great as was the rest of our cruise.

This cabin had a larger balcony because it was the last mini-suite on the floor. However, every morning we could hear the basketball court 2 floors above. It was actually surprisingly loud for having the cafe between us. I wouldnt book this room again, we didnt really use the balcony other than for a few minutes a day.
