The downsides: the food and complete lack of beverage service while playing in the casino. They also ran out of stuff to make my pistachio martini after 1 day. Lots of venues didn't open until 2 or 5pm (Mixx Bar, The District, etc) which was disappointing. Lots of things cost extra. The thermal spa (one item well worth the money) was amazing as always.

It was a little confusing but not too bad. We showed up at our check in time and got in line. Got our cards then walked on the ship. This was from noon to 1pm.

The food was the worst part of the trip. The service was slow, the food that should have been hot was cold and the food that should have been cold was warm. The food was also gross. In looks and taste. I've never had such bad cruise food. We ate mostly in the complimentary dining venues. The buffet (for breakfast) was actually excellent as was the service. Cagneys and Food Republic (specialty dining) were both excellent.

The ship is very nice. It does need a minor refurbish. The carpeted areas are worn and I noticed our sofa was worn and the booths in O'Sheehans had buttons missing. Minor stuff like that.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very nice. A balcony cabin has plenty of storage and room. The shower could be a tad bigger but overall the room was very comfortable and sufficient.
Ship tip
Order multiple entrees. You likely won't like one so have a backup or you will be hungry.
