We like sailing out of NYC since we can take Amtrak to get there. Enjoy the two overnight stays in Bermuda. Have sailed on Escape before, really like the ship, but have to say that with 4300 cruisers it got a big overwhelming with noise and crowds. Some of this of course was due to the cooler weather that you expect at this time of year.

Overall food was okay. Nothing outstanding, even in the specialty restaurants. I feel NCL can no longer tout their "Freestyle" dining. You cannot eat when you want, where you want. You need reservations even in the MDR. So plan ahead to get the times & places you want.

Lots of trivia. Pretty much that was it.

Staff is always great, however, it's obvious that there are too few of them so we couldn't interact with them as we have in the past. Not their fault at all.
Ship Quality

Very clean, well maintained. Love the Waterfront, however at this time of year, in the north Atlantic can't enjoy the outdoors too much & this ship doesn't have quiet indoor spots as some of the smaller ships in the fleet have.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size adequate for two adults. Lots of storage. Couch was beside closet with bed closer to balcony door. Like this layout much better than the bed first. Our balcony was angled so it was slightly bigger than the average
