Review summary

Considering all, this Norwegian Cruise is my first and last with them. I will stick with Princess and RC.

Embarkation

Arrived at the pier around 10:30 and was on within the hour. Smooth process.

Food and Dining

Nothing to write home about. As staff needed to take over service in the buffet line, all food was cold by the time you sat down to eat it!

La Cucina

Service was awful. Food, mediocre at best. We ended up leaving before desert as our waiter disappeared and we were tired of waiting.

Went in for the classic fish & chips, what I got was fish sticks instead of a real piece of cod. Very disappointed.

Very unfriendly staff. Not once did a waiter on the deck ever ask if I wanted a beverage from the bar. I admire the self service.

Ship Quality

The staff had extra duties due to the CDC recommendations. Ship areas were disinfected routinely. ‘Washy washy’ was the word of the week.

Cabin / Stateroom

Not much storage space for two adults. Tv is in a strange place so watching from bed is tricky.

Learn to love crowds and pack your patience!
