I tried the solo cabins and while the price was right, I felt like I was sleeping in the bathroom because the sink & shower are visible from the bed. And if I remember correctly, I had issue with the AC cooling the room enough for me. Maybe I just need the temp extraordinarily cool to sleep. It was just too tight for me. So I suck it up and pay for a balcony when I go. At least then I'm comfortable. I'm not a stay up late person so I do spend time in my cabin and a balcony cabin is perfect for me.
