Review summary

Overall, being on a new ship is great. Rooms were nice and clean. Lots of dining options and bars. The spa thermal suite is amazing and worth the cost for the spa pass.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main Dining rooms were not so great. They are pushing people to specialty restaurants which I understand, but it's a shame you have to go to specialty and pay for the service you expect. Overall the F&B had declined on NCL.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots to do from the spa to mini golf, water slides and pools.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Service was good overall, but I was disappointed that they don't have many waiters in the bars/lounges and you have to order drinks at the bar. Also, they have now started not putting ice in rooms, no towel animals, no lotion or bar soap unless requested. No beach towels (pool only or gangway).

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This is bigger room in terms of the bathroom and balcony. The balcony is directly under the bridge so not a ton of privacy plus balconies above you can see you if you aren't right by the glass door, but it was amazing to have a balcony about 3 times the size of a normal balcony. Bathroom had a large sink with 2 faucets and a large shower with a sliding door...the size was amazing for a cruise ship.

Ship tip

Plan for meals so that you are happy with choices. I would advise buying a specialty package for 5-7 nights.
