Review summary

The ship, the staff, the food are excellent. Top notch. But the ship is so large with so many people that it seemed like there were crowds everywhere.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Very long lines waiting for the TSA check and then waiting to check-in with NCL.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food and staff were excellent. BUT make reservations for EVERYTHING. And do that ahead of time. Including the Main dining rooms. It was only open seating the last day for breakfast. We would go to the Main dining rooms about 6:30 and "standby" for a table for 2 or 4 or maybe 6. As a group of 13 we were unable to get something except for 5:15 or 9:45.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We used the gym every day but it was packed Did the water slide which was fun but again long lines. Gambling but they smoke in there The pools are small. Only 2 for 4000 people. Very crowded. To get a deck chair in the shade was difficult. The hot tubs were packed too. We went to the hot tub early before breakfast before the crowds.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Entertainment not as good as on other Cruise lines. We went to one show Howling at the Moon - dueling pianos. That we enjoyed. Nothing else really interested us.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff are tops. Wonderful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is very neat and clean and kept that way.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect

This was our embarkation port

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

Enjoyed our visit to Bermuda We did the Glass Bottom Boat and snorkeling (don't expect much when you snorkel). We jet skied. It's right there at the dock. We did the Gosling's rum cruise. That was fun. And we did the excursion to Horseshoe Bay Beach Taking a cab there and back would be cheaper and you could go to a different beach if you want. Chairs and loungers were expensive to rent. No umbrellas due to wind they said. But tents were still available (for $85.)

Disembarkation

Again long line just to get off the ship. We let them collect our luggage. Bad mistake. You have to hunt through hundreds to find yours. Then wait on line for customs. Those who carried their own had no problem.. My friend's bag was lost and we had to file a report. We got in line on the ship to get off at 9. Didn't get out to the street until 10:30

We went end of September last year and going back first week of November. If you don’t like crowds go when school is in, big difference on the ship

Well I hope you had a great cruise!! We went on the ship last year, and we plan to go on it again in October. That’s why we sail off peak season. We don’t like crowds of people.😊👍🏼💖🛳⚓️
