Try the Sun or one of their other smaller ships of NCL. I'm sure they would more suit your need to be in a calmer atmosphere. I am starting to like the smaller vessels. The crew has more time to chit chat and the crowd seems to be calmer. On NCL there is just as much entertainment on the smaller ship as the larger counter parts have. Happy cruising!

Homework would have told you all cruise lines charge statr/local sales tax within territorial waters. Key card issue is another story. Only time I had issues with a key card was when I would have it the same pocket as something magnetic, like a money clip. Nothing was said if it was all key cards to the cabin or just one.

Should have said they didn't charge us tax.

They charge us tax on the way to the gulf. I was surprised.

Sorry you had a bad experience the Escape has always been our favorite ship. We’ve never had a bad experience on it and have cruised on it three times. Pool area always has been busy on any large ship. Hopefully you’ll find a ship that suits you better next time.

Common sense tells you about the taxes. You think ny is bad, don't go out of nola. You have 5 hours of taxes.
