Wonderful Cruise ship if you like crowds and lots of bars and amenities...ship too large and not set up for well for people with mobility issues.

Review summary

Good cruise for people who don't mind crowds, families, and who just love cruising on Large ships with lots to experience..Not as good for people who have mobility issues... Loved cruising our to New York..worth the whole trip for the views going out...

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was a bit difficult because of the amount of people and especially for those of us who needed wheelchair assistance. People were very nice at check in. Port needs improvement to accommodate large crowds

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining rooms were very nice..Manhattan was large and had entertainment..Had supper club which was cozy and nice to watch a main show their with dinner..Buffet too crowded and confusing for people with mobility issues..so I only stopped by late afternoon for a snack..chose the main dining rooms for breakfast and dinner which were very nice.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Only One pool for 4000 people, One for children which both were Packed..but finally found two Quiet areas one in Front of Ship on floor 19 and one on Back of Pool with two nice jacuzzi's..all of course packed..hard to find lounge chairs on Sea Days..

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the shows and entertainment..all good... One problem they requested you have reservations for all shows..a lot of people Did Not go because the shows said they were booked ..I walked in 5 minutes before and always got in..Thought it a bit rediculous to not clarify that is was possible to go see a show without a reservation..

Children's Programs

I was solo with no children.. looked like lots of fun things for children and families

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was very nice and friendly..lack of knowledge of ship layout was a problem.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Beautiful ship...layout a bit confusing and hard to navigate..especially if you could not climb stairs or walk for long distances but overall a great ship...

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Small but adequate for one person..two would work but be a stretch..Nice bathroom compared to other ships..Kept very clean at all times..nice fluffy towels and beds..

Ship tip

Make sure you take a tour IF ABLE around all the decks before you plan your sea day or night activities..there are many nice areas that are hidden in many out of the way places inside and out..not explained well in the Bailey Brochures.

Ports of call

New York, New York

4 out of 5
It was ok..needed to take a ferry over to town and good areas..Ferry to St. George was right as we got off boat..was a walk to other Ferry to Hamilton.. Dockyard was nice for a visit and to pick up a few things at Pharmacy..small snorkle beach there (man made) I took a excursion to Horseshoe Bay Beach..lovely..beach chairs expensive though

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

3 out of 5
Same..not much there but interesting..need to ferry or take cab to other parishes to really get the feel of Bermuda..

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Too many people and long lines..they did the best they could..
