Review summary

Our whole group got sick the day before we were suppose to disembark. Came home and went to urgent care and everyone either has strep infection or flu. Never have we ever had that after a vacation. The ship was def contaminated. I would stay away from this ship. The rooms was very dusty and the staff was super rude!

This person obviously has no idea how infections are spread. I’ve had strep throat many times, none of them acquired during a cruise. You can get sick anywhere, anytime. You were on a ship with 4000 passengers, plus I’m sure you went off the ship at some point. All it takes is one person in your party to get sick and infect the rest of you. Hygiene is very important. Wash your hands before you eat, sanitize each time you use a serving utensil, etc. Use the same common sense you would use at home to avoid illness.

We went last year to Bermuda and the ship was spotless. We are going back again in the fall, the Escape is a beautiful ship and everything was spotless clean!!!
