Review summary

Overall it was not bad. I will not travel on this ship again. I used to travel Norwegian before and the other ships were much more fun. I really don't know if I want to cruise again with them. Undecided.

Embarkation

Our embarkation was smooth; because m husband and I had all our papers in order. Literally after waiting over 1/2 hour in line it only took 5 minutes for the associate to check us in. the issue is not only that others are not ready with their paperwork, but also, the associated that are directing the people to the next open associate, did not seem very organized. they were all over the place and did not pay much attention to what was what happening. In addition I'm surprise that Norwegian still uses poster cards to let the assistants on the floor know that a registration assistant is available. How about replacing those cards with a call light similar to what they use in Marshall's or many other stores.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We only tried the buffet, as we have been cruising for a very long time and we just like to be casual. The food was excellent and the drinks even better. I did find the drinks to be a bit expensive $8.00 for a Bud light. Water was $7.00 for a litter.

I gave a 1 star for this, because we were only able to see one show. This ship was totally different. You have to signs up to see the shows. We were only 1/2 in the ship and tried to sign up for shows, and they were all full. Very disappointing. My husband and I are very good with technology; at the point that we were trying to sign up for shows and we were unsuccessful; I felt a panic. I was thinking about all those older retired couples (like my parents) that have no idea of technology and looking forward to the cruise and attending as many shows as they can, and then nothing... Sorry out of luck.! I never found out how people like my parents can register for shows. Before My parents go on another Cruise with Norwegian , if they choose to, I need to investigate how I can signed them up for the shows that every year they look forward to. One more thing, this is not a party ship!--- Boring!!!!! all bars close at midnight and they open at 11:00am.

Service and Staff

Every was very nice and accommodating. Our Stewart Alexis on Deck 10! was just wonderful. Alexis- thank you for your work and dedication!

Ship Quality

Loved that there was always people cleaning. Did not like the way the design the ship or where the casino is situated. its on the center of one of the decks and below there's a beautiful restaurant that I wanted to try but didn't because you could smell the cigarette smoke.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Love my cabin, love the balcony. spent much time there. The only thing that i did not like were the pillows. They were hard as rocks. I will bring my own on the next cruise

Ship tip

Change reservation process, Change the pills, Casino should be far from food, add chair tot he atrium seems that you hold most of the shows there and there were not many seats.
