Review summary

Embarkation in new york City was an absolute disorganized disaster. Once upon the ship the prime reason I continue to sail with Norwegian came into immediate view; beautiful and clean ship, and a pleasant and delightful crew willing to assist in all your needs. The Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda is a fantastic port which is easily navigated on foot. The island of Bermuda has a very different vibe than the Caribbean islands in that the population is extremely mellow and relaxed, which sets the tone of the island and all it has to offer.

I’ve sailed twice out of NYC and thought it was very smooth and easy to get on the ship. I arrived around 11/1115 and was on the ship by noon. Given the amount of people on these ship (4200 I think) I thought that was great!

We loved the escape and the Bermuda itinerary. Thank goodness we actually had no issues in the NYC port it was so smooth and easy. Now Miami....... was completely disorganized which could have been a fluke thing. No one was directing anyone where to go to get checked it and it was a free for all so you could imagine. I was extremely happy to be on board and a drink in my hand.

We have experienced easy and chaotic in 3 cruises, hope it is better in Jan 2019 than Jan 2018

I don’t understand why NCL can’t manage the embarkation in NY. Planning, organization, key directive personnel are needed. It’s as though it’s the first time they’ve done it and it would be easier on the staff as well
