Review summary

I enjoyed my vacation regardless of a few disappointment. I would travel Norwegian to the same destination again without hesitation. We had a lot of fun, the food was great and we were sad that the trip ended so soon.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
My only complain was that the night parties were monotonous with the 70's, 80's and 90's nights with strictly American music. the people on the ship were diverse and that should be reflected in the entertainment. I was bored of the American pop and R&B, with a reggae band playing from time to time so i spent a lot of time in my cabin at nights. It would have been nice to hear some music from the area we were visiting. There were only two free shows on a seven night cruise. My husband made the comment that at a resort there would be a different show each night usually with a mix of American culture and that of the country we are visiting at the time.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
It was a family vacation and I hardly saw my kids. They loved the children's programs. I felt comfortable leaving them there and my husband and I had the bonus of alone time.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
most of the staff was friendly and helpful, but there were a few who were curt and dismissive.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
cleanliness excellent. Designed royal Caribbean and carnival trumps Norwegian, but it didn't matter much to me.

There was more than two free shows. You should have looked a little harder. There was the comedy shows and more live music than I’ve seen on a carnival ship in years. We had no trouble finding something to entertain us.

When I was on the allure it was almost too quiet during the day no dj only a band a few times a day the escape I felt was better but it should be more party music if you want quiet you can Sit on your balcony it’s a shame you stayed in your room there were a lot of venues to listen to music at night
