Review summary

My wife and I had never been on a cruise before and went on the Escape to Bermuda for our 10th anniversary. Rarely in life do things exceed my expectations but this trip certainly did! The ship is absolutely amazing. The shows are great as are the bars and casino. I highly recommend The Choir of Man and Howl At The Moom dueling pianos show. We were with the Kosherica Kosher group and they did a fantastic job. We highly recommend them especially Avrumi and Rochie Flaum as well as Rabbi Yossi Birnbaum. Bermuda was quite pleasant as well and I highly recommend doing some snorkling. The only dissapointing thing about Bermuda was their capital city of Hamilton is quite boring. They try hard to make it an upscale city but fail in that effort. We were hoping to experience some more culture and have an Island feel which we did not find. We would definitely go on the Escape again and would most likely try out a new destination. Also our Cruise Director Alvin was hilarious!

Ship Quality

I had never been on a cruise before and read some reviews that said the Escape feels crowded with so many people on board. I couldn't disagree more. I never felt crowded, had no issues getting a drink at any of the bars or getting an elevator. Ship was extremely clean and gorgeous.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I expected the cabin to feel more cramped but found it to be plenty roomy for two people. My wife and I absolutely loved the balcony! Was the best part of the room and I highly recommend spending the extra for it.

Ship tip

Even if you do not sign up for shows or events you should try the standby lines. We got into several events using standby. If possible take advantage of the self-assist program with disembarking. We did it with two large bags and a few small ones and it made getting off the ship a breeze.
