Review summary

Enjoyed the amenities of the ship and the gorgeous island of Bermuda. One suggestion is to enclose the casino why as a no smoker should I have to breath in smoke.

I agree. I have the atrium where the casino and lebistro I on diff floors. We ate at lebistro on bottom n did breath smoke from casino. So bad with the layout smoke wise

And not to mention causing others to get 2nd hand smoke and a great expenses to all when they get emphysema and or lung cancer.

Soon they will make it non smoking except in the cigar lounge and everyone will have to quit actually smart on the cruise lines part because people Will save so much money they can take more cruises LOL

Smoke from the casino has always been the biggest complaint on the Escape because it permeates to other parts of the ship, however when we were on the ship last month we could tell there’d been a big improvement from our previous trips.... We were told powerful extractors had recently been installed and they seemed pretty effective... The smoke smell was nowhere near so bad, and once the area is refreshed and re-carpeted the underlying smell might go... As for ‘avoiding the casino’ that’s impossible as it’s located in such a central transit part of the ship... NCL have obviously learned the lessons and have enclosed the casino smoking area (as you suggest in your review) on the new Bliss...

There are plenty of other nonsmoking venues on the ship, so as a non smoker, why did you venture close to the casino? It’s not like they keep it a secret that smoking is allowed there. But there are limited places for smokers to go, so tolerance is the key here. 🍸
